eTip: What Is Your Story?

Many times, we work very hard to create our various "elevator speeches" often to the point where they become esoteric to us and confusing to others who hear them.

Yet when you add a story, particularly YOUR story, to your elevator speech, people often remember the story. Why? Because, a story creates visuals. People remember pictures they conjure up in their minds to relate to a story. Do you still remember stories that were read to you or told to you when you were a child? Why? Because you used your imagination to create relevance.
